2008.com was registered already in 1996. Already in 1996 we supported Beijing’s goal to become an Olympic Host City. December 13, 2000 we changed the design of 2008.com and added the message “2008.com supports Beijing and China!” to show our support for China before the election of Host City for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad.

After Beijing was elected, July 13, 2001 at the 112th IOC Session in Moscow, as Host City of the Olympics in 2008, we changed our message to “2008.com congratulates Beijing and China”.

2008.com is based in Sweden and has a Swedish Publishing License. This web site is both a media and marketing platform that presents the world metropolis Beijing as well as China.
Our goal
We have visited "Glorious China" several times to get to know the country and its customs. As we are a Swedish company one of our goals is to create a unique cooperation between Sweden and China.
